On to Victory

A World War 2 re-enactment scene on the North York Moors Railway at Pickering Station in North Yorkshire. The whole town of Pickering and the other stops on the railway join in the fun and it is very popular. Everyone is allowed on to one platform, but only people in 1940's dress are allowed on to the opposite platform. I liked this group just chatting in front of the poster. Mid-afternoon in the middle of October
