Interiors 2

I find some staircases quite interesting and enjoy finding unusual angles and ways to portray them. These were taken in a variety of places, from a disused lighthouse in Northumberland to a free-standing helix in the Louvre in Paris. Also included are staircases in Tate St Ives, in Somerset House in London, a London hotel and a London department store.

Tate St Ives is well worth a visit but of course no photoraphy is allowed of the art on display. I did like this staircase, though, and waited for someone to come along to add some interest. I set a slow shutter speed 1/13th) to show movement and braced the camera against the bannister.
